Refund Policy
devys sells digital apps that buyers download and run. Because a downloaded file can't be "returned," refunds follow a simple, fair rule set.
The short version
- Before you download — refund a paid item yourself, anytime, no questions asked.
- After you download — self-serve refunds close; message the seller and they can refund you.
- Free items — just remove them from your library whenever.
- Real money back — paid refunds are issued through Stripe to your original card.
Buyer refunds
If you bought a paid app and haven't downloaded it yet, open Purchases and tap Refund. The charge is reversed through Stripe to your original payment method, and the item leaves your library.
Once you've downloaded the files, the self-serve refund closes — you already have the product. If something's wrong (it doesn't work, isn't as described), message the seller; they can issue a refund from their side.
What sellers should know
- A buyer-initiated refund on a purchase you were paid for reverses your share back through Stripe; your earnings are adjusted to match — you'll never be driven into a negative balance.
- Refunds aren't possible once a buyer has downloaded the files, so those requests come to you directly — handle them fairly to keep your rating and trust.
- Every listing is scanned, completeness-checked, and test-run before it can go live, which keeps "it doesn't work" refunds rare.
Chargebacks & disputes
Payments run through Stripe, which handles card disputes and chargebacks under its standard terms. Fraud or abuse of the refund system (for example, repeatedly downloading and disputing) may result in account limits.
