Welcome to Devys — the marketplace where builders sell and discover the apps, agents, website templates, and games they create. These Terms explain how Devys works, what's free, and how our fees work. By using Devys you agree to them.
THE SHORT VERSION
- Signing up is free. Creating an account and profile costs nothing.
- Opening your store is free. Loading your storefront and listing your apps is always free.
- Free apps stay free. If you give an app away, we take nothing.
- You only pay when you earn. Devys keeps a flat 15% (minimum $0.50) of each paid sale — you keep the rest.
1It's free to join and to sell
Creating a Devys account, setting up your profile, opening your store, and listing your apps and other digital creations is completely free. There are no signup fees, no monthly fees, and no listing fees. You can build your storefront, post updates, follow other builders, and message collaborators at no cost.
Devys only earns money when you earn money — through a service fee on paid sales, described below. If your apps are free, you and your buyers pay nothing.
2Fees & payments
When someone buys a paid app from you, Devys retains a service fee and credits the remainder — your net earnings — to your Devys wallet.
Charged only on paid sales. The buyer pays the listed price; the fee is deducted from the seller's proceeds.
The $0.50 minimum ensures very low-priced items remain viable to process. Third-party payment-processing fees (e.g., card networks / payment providers) may apply at launch and, where applicable, are covered by or added to the service fee. Devys's current rates are 15% and a $0.50 minimum; we'll give notice before any change to these rates.
Your available balance can be withdrawn to your chosen payout method at any time. Refunds reverse the corresponding sale and the associated credit to the seller.
3Your account
- You're responsible for your account and for the content you post, list, and sell.
- You must have the right to sell what you list, and your listings must accurately describe what buyers receive.
- Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
4What you can sell
Devys is a digital, family-friendly marketplace. You may list software and digital creations — apps, agents, website templates, browser extensions, games, and similar digital goods. You may not list:
- Physical or shippable goods — Devys sells software, not physical items.
- Adult, explicit, or NSFW content — Devys is family-friendly.
- Malware, scripts, or unsafe files — everything is scanned before it can go live.
- Anything you don't own or have the rights to, or anything illegal.
Every listing is automatically screened (malware & code scanning, a digital-only gate, and a family-friendly content filter) and may be reviewed by our moderation team. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
5Buying on Devys
When you buy an app, it's added to your library. Paid purchases are processed at checkout and the seller is credited their net earnings. You may request a refund through your order history; refunds remove the item from your library and reverse the sale.
6Reviews, reports & moderation
You can review apps you own and report anything that looks unsafe, inappropriate, or against these Terms. Reports go to a moderation queue where flagged content is reviewed and, if warranted, removed. Reviews and reports must themselves be truthful and family-friendly.
7Intellectual property
You keep ownership of what you create and list. By listing on Devys you grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute your listing so buyers can discover and purchase it. Buyers receive the license you offer with each item.
8Prohibited conduct
- No fraud, scams, spam, or manipulation of ratings, sales, or discovery.
- No attempts to bypass fees, moderation, or the content gates.
- No harassment, hate, or abuse of other builders or buyers.
9Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Devys grows. We'll post the updated version here and, for material changes such as fee changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
